Ballet dance

Classical ballet originated in Italy. It combines technical steps with graceful movements and mime. Learning ballet can help build strength, discipline, flexibility and co-ordination.

Tap dance

A dance performed wearing shoes with metal taps used to create a rhythmical sound as the dancer moves their feet. This style of dance is especially beneficial for developing cognitive skills, rhythm and co-ordination.

Modern Stage dance

Modern Stage dance is a rhythmic dance that originated in America. It is often seen in musical theatre from the West End to Broadway. Modern Stage dance can help improve performance skills and it is both enjoyable and builds confidence.

Contemporary dance

Known for its expressive and free style, contemporary was both influenced by and formed as a contrast to the much more technical classical ballet. Learning contemporary style is a great way to explore creativity and build strength.

Street dance

A dance style which originated outside in urban spaces, performed by amateur dancers to hip-hop music. The style is all about self-expression and attitude and its fast pace helps build stamina, agility and strength.

Cheer dance

Cheer dance combines athletic cheer-leading moves with routines danced with pom-poms. This style of dance is energetic and lots of fun!
